Hardware Communication via Serial Interface

An example implementation would be a chemical weighing system using industrial scales. Once an order is selected, the program guides the operator on which chemicals to place on the scale and verifies the quantity added. If everything is correct, the user receives both a visual and an audio signal.

This functionality requires two-way communication between the computer and the scale. The communication function is configurable, making it adaptable for multiple types of scales.
