About us

OLC Systems s.r.o. was established in 2000 as a purely Czech software company. Today, it employs more than 65 experienced developers.

Since the very beginning, our core focus has been software development, in particular the creation of information systems. We develop cloud-based manufacturing, trade, and record-keeping information systems as well as mobile applications. We help our clients manage large volumes of data in a clear and structured way, increasing the efficiency of their work.

Our products and software are used by well-known clients such as Palacký University Olomouc, the Czech Floorball Association (the second largest sport in the Czech Republic in terms of membership), the Judicial Academy of the Ministry of Justice, and others.

Other key customers include one of the largest multinational corporations in the rubber industry, Hexpol, as well as Mobil Pohotovost, a retail seller of mobile electronics. Through our partners, we also develop software for O2 Czech Republic, T-Mobile, and Vodafone.

Since 2019, we have been present not only in Olomouc but also in our Ostrava branch. In 2024, we moved into newly renovated premises there, providing facilities for 20 developers.

In 2024, we merged two subsidiaries specializing in web design and e-commerce solutions—IZON s.r.o. (acquired in 2014) and Orbinet s.r.o. (acquired in 2022)—into a single company, OLC Webdesign s.r.o., which continues to provide customers with comprehensive services. OLC Systems s.r.o. holds a 100% ownership stake in this company. Thanks to these acquisitions, we have been able to consistently offer a broad portfolio of IT services.

In 2025, we successfully passed a security certification for software development in compliance with ČSN EN ISO/IEC 27001:2023, formally confirming our long-standing commitment to being a reliable partner for our clients—not only in development itself but also in security and the handling of personal and other sensitive data.

Development of the OLAF System at OLC Systems s.r.o.

Registration number CZ.01.01.01/01/24_062/0007524

Project description

The OLAF project is developing an intelligent system for managing energy consumption in households and small-scale operations. It combines a local control unit with a cloud platform and uses machine learning for predictive decision-making. The goal is to increase energy efficiency, self-sufficiency, and automation without requiring user intervention.

What is the objective of the project?

The objective of the project is to develop the digital OLAF system for intelligent consumption management and optimization of energy flows in households and small-scale operations. The solution will include embedded control software (OLAF BOX) and a cloud platform (OLAF CLOUD), which together will enable users to easily, automatically, and predictively manage appliances, batteries, or photovoltaic (PV) generation based on real-time data, market prices, and user preferences. The project aims to achieve a higher level of self-sufficiency, cost savings, and the integration of households into smart energy grids.

The OLAF project is fully aligned with Priority No. 1 – Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including big data and security, as defined in Annex No. 10 of the Application II Call – Development of Digital Solutions, specifically in the machine learning sub-area.
